Improving public health
The vaccine industry contributes to Europe public health by preventing both established and emerging infectious. Vaccination is one of the most effective public health interventions, and its importance is increasing through the constant development of new products with high potential for public health.

A strategic asset for Europe’s economy
EVM members are global leaders of the vaccine industry ; they have a strong European base. Indeed, 88% of EVM members’ vaccine production and 70% of EVM Members’ vaccine research projects take place in the EU.
