EVM INITIATIVES

As the voice of the vaccine industry in Europe, EVM is actively involved in different areas such as Influenza, Public health or and Regulatory affairs. Different Working Groups, which comprise experts from the following areas, work on these issues and report directly to the EVM Board.

Influenza

The EVM Influenza Pandemic WG is the EVM forum to address all flu pandemic issues, as well as those related to seasonal flu vaccination, and is in charge of coordinating the flu vaccination uptake survey. >>

External Affairs

Vaccines have transformed public health, protecting people around the world against a range of infectious diseases. By protecting individuals, whole communities can benefit from the dramatic reduction and even elimination of certain diseases. >>

Regulatory & Scientific Affairs

The EVM Regulatory Working Group contributes to create a supportive regulatory environment in Europe to accelerate the vaccine access to patients without undermining the efficacy, safety and quality of the product. >>

Other Initiatives

Some specific issues require the creation of an EVM Ad-Hoc Group, given the very specific field of expertise that may be required. The Ad-Hoc Groups report to their corresponding EVM Working Group. >>
